We often feature a fun-filled destination in Kentucky and then highlight it again if it’s added something new and exciting. In May 2019, we shared a popular Harry Potter-themed escape room at Escape Today in Owensboro. This western Kentucky attraction is now not only in a new location with even more to offer, but it now also has a Stranger Things escape room in Kentucky. If you’re a fan of this show, or even if you’re not, you’ll want to plan a visit soon and see if you can escape this 1980s mystery.

This fun-filled destination recently moved into a new space on West 2nd Street and has so much to offer both locals and those visiting town. Known for its exciting escape rooms, Escape Today also offers axe throwing, an arcade, a rage room, and even more to come!
The large space is basically an adult playground, but all ages are welcome (axe throwing does require you be 13 and have parent supervision).

You can reserve your 60-minute try at an escape room through the website, linked below. That will also give you an hour to try out the free arcade and make plans to return as soon as possible.
If you've never tried an escape room, this is the perfect spot to try it out, especially if you're a fan of the show Stranger Things.

It may sound odd, but it's actually brilliant and incredibly fun! There are rooms for one or two people at a time and after you've donned your protective gear, you are given a bat and a room full of things that are ready to be smashed.
Axe throwing is a newer form of entertainment and Escape Today has 6 lanes and even an Axe Throwing League.

Any of these activities would make for a great night out with friends, a date night, or a work bonding excursion. You can also host a birthday party, bachelor/bachelorette party, or other gathering here in this exciting space.
Escape Today is adding on even more very soon and in just a few short months will open The Brew Bridge next door.
