Jasmin Bakery European Bread is located southeast of downtown Louisville on the corner of Bardstown Road and Steier Lane.
This little shop is a hidden gem tucked away in a small strip mall, and you may be tempted to pass it right by. However, if you’re in the area, you’ll want to stop in for the delicious surprises awaiting you inside.
When you first walk through the door, you may think that Jasmin Bakery is simply a bread shop and small, specialty grocery.
Traditional accompaniments are alongside it, including onion and a homemade sauce. Visitors drive miles and miles just to enjoy this unique and authentic sandwich.
Jasmin Bakery also makes one of the best gyros in the state, and you can get it in a small or large size.
