Kentucky is a wonderful place to live, work, and go to school, and many of our towns and cities are considered some of the safest in the country. A recent report looked at colleges and universities throughout the nation and has named both the safest in Kentucky, as well as the country. The University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg was named the safest college in Kentucky, and while it’s a wonderful place to go to school, the tiny town around it is also a great area to live in the Bluegrass State.
The University of the Cumberlands is a beautiful college in Williamsburg with a student population of about 10,000. This college town is not only a great place to study, but it is also a great area to live to have access to so much Kentucky has to offer.
And now you can also feel very safe while exploring the campus and town, as a recent report by Your Local Security has named University of the Cumberlands the safest college in Kentucky and the 4th safest in the country.
The study looked at factors such as the prevalence of property crimes, hate crimes, violent crimes and violence against women to determine the rankings. The university works closely with the city of Williamsburg to ensure safety and to have more police presence on the campus.
The University of the Cumberlands is growing quickly as well. This Kentucky school has also been named one of the fastest growing in the nation as more and more people are discovering this beautiful school.
