If you love quilting, chances are you also appreciate history, and Bardstown, Kentucky is a great place to experience it. Book a room at The Old Talbott Tavern, the oldest hotel in our state, and be sure to make a reservation at the restaurant. The rooms are appropriately decorated with colorful quilts and antiques, providing an ideal place to rest up before another day of exploring.

Rise and shine! Head north to Boone County and check out the Boone Barn Quilt Trail. Throughout the county, there are more than 60 barns that have a beautifully painted quilt square on display, and you view them from the road as you drive through the beautiful countryside.
