I write like it's my job - because it is! I have a Master's in English and love words: crossword puzzles, Scrabble games, Wordle, and, of course, good, old-fashioned books.
I'm a writer and editor at OnlyInYourState, and a contributing writer at Cincinnati Magazine. I love the Great Outdoors and am endlessly awestruck by this beautiful country of ours. Coffee keeps me going, yoga keeps me sane, my kids keep me grounded, and my writing keeps me inspired.
As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
The Pickle Factory Boutique Hotel just opened in Kentucky, and it’s kind of a big dill. This boutique hotel in Kentucky occupies the former Wenzel Building in Covington. Over the last 150 years, the building was home to a soft drink factory, steam dye company, the African-American Odd Fellows fraternal organization, and (you guessed it) a pickle factory. This historic property sat abandoned until the Covington Economic Development Authority recommended it for renovation. Now, this pickle-factory-turned-Airbnb is open and ready for guests, offering guests one-of-a-kind accommodations they’re sure to relish.
The Pickle Factory Boutique Hotel is now open, and you can visit Neat Suites to learn more and book a room!
