The Patton Museum was recently renovated and teaches about the impact of leadership through the work of General George S. Patton. Located within the gates of Fort Knox is a fascinating museum that may not be as well-known as others in Kentucky. The Patton Museum recognizes the important work of General George Patton and highlights the necessity of leadership in our society.

The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is free to visit. When you arrive at Fort Knox, you'll have to check in at a gate and they will point you to the museum.
Throughout the museum, you'll find impressive artifacts from General Patton's career and from WWII. There are medals, previously used weapons, uniforms, and several other actual pieces from the life of one of the world's greatest Generals.
Tanks were a big part of Patton's career, and you can see them up close at the museum. While they do not have as many on display as they once did, you can still witness these historic vehicles both inside and outside.
The quotes from General Patton displayed throughout the museum definitely set the tone for your visit and will make you ponder the concept of leadership. Patton was known for his style of leadership - and his success - and this little-known museum in Kentucky is a great place to learn all about this notable American General.
