It’s officially fall, which means it is time to prepare for Halloween and the scariest time of year. While some enjoy a good scare any time of year, this season is always particularly festive when it comes to frightening fun. If you’re a fan of ghost stories, scary movies, creepy costumes, and everything else that goes along with them, then the perfect event for you is taking place this weekend in Lexington. The ScareFest will be held September 29th through October 1st and it’s bound to be the festival that will spook you into oblivion.
Being held this weekend at the Lexington Convention Center, The ScareFest Horror Convention is celebrating ten years of terror with their epic annual event.
This unique convention is one of the largest paranormal festivals in the Midwest. The convention center is taken over by fans of all things scary and you never know what you may experience during the three-day fear fest.

The main attraction is the Expo, which runs Friday from 5pm to 9pm, Saturday 11am to 9pm and Sunday 11am to 4pm.
Here you'll find a wide variety of vendors offering everything from food to collectibles to clothing to tattoos. The convention also includes other events such as midnight movies at the historic Kentucky Theater and ghost hunts with celebrity paranormal experts.
You'll have the opportunity to ask paranormal experts all of those burning questions about ghost hunting. You can also meet dozens of celebrities from scary movies and other genres.
To say this paranormal festival is unique would be an understatement.
