This easy, mile-long trail leads to panoramic views of Daniel Boone National Forest, one of Kentucky’s most dazzling jewels.
This is Daniel Boone National Forest. It's 708,000 glorious acres nestled within a 2.1-million acre boundary, right in the heart of the Bluegrass State.
Located within the Daniel Boone National Forest near Whitley City, Kentucky, the Panoramic Trail is a 1.1-mile, out-and-back trail that's perfect for all skill levels.
This easy hike traverses through some of the state's most beautiful and unbridled wilderness, past the iconic rock formations for which Kentucky is well-known.
While breathtaking all year-round, this vista is especially incredible in the autumn, when the canyons are painted in rich reds, bold oranges, and golden yellows.
