This massive forest is located at 2499 Hwy 245 and offers miles of thick, lush plant and wild life. The area is flourishing and offers a serene place for those looking to just get away from the hectic city schedules most people endure.

This renowned spot at 5888 Jacks Creek Pike offers breathtaking views and comforting spots to get away and relax. It is a perfect area to have a picnic and just forget about city life for a while. Raven Run is one of the most beautifully preserved spots in the state.

This manmade park alongside the Ohio River is located at 129 E River Road, but it offers a phenomenal view of the river front area. The designers have created an area with only natural plants and trees in order to preserve the natural beauty along the Ohio. The Big Four Pedestrian Bridge is located in the park and offers a breathtaking view of all areas on either side of the Ohio.

The LBL at 238 Visitor Center Drive is one of the most breathtaking spots in our state. The manmade lakes may not be created by Mother Nature, but all that surrounds them are. The forests and wildlife are an amazing getaway that allows campers, fishermen, and nature enthusiasts to just enjoy life without the interruption of the city.

This 400 mile charted cave system at 1 Mammoth Cave Parkway is the largest in the world. It is one of the amazing natural wonders of the world as well. There is still more left uncharted and no one is exactly sure how much of this underground wonderland is left to be explored.

There are few, if any that have not heard of Mother Nature’s vast wonderland at 3451 Skybridge Road. It is possibly Kentucky’s most renowned preserved nature area. There is so much to do here you could spend a month and still not accomplish everything there is available to do. Camping, hiking, swimming, fishing and just exploring the vast territories offers a phenomenal experience and potential bonding with nature.

This amazing waterfall at 7351 State Highway 90 is one of the biggest tourist spots in Kentucky. It has been referred to as the Niagara of the South, and with good reason. It doesn’t have the girth of Niagara, but it does hold the beauty. Plus, it is home to the amazing moonbow, and is one of only two locations in the world where it can be seen on a regular basis.
