Nestled away in the charming and beautiful town of Somerset, you’ll find a mesmerizing gallery dedicated to all things paranormal. UFOs, cryptids, Bigfoot, ghosts, and much more!
This mysterious gallery is the creation of Kentucky’s own Zach Bales who has had a passion for paranormal phenomena since his youth. He’s been all over the country and the world documenting paranormal mysteries and has published several books that share his findings.
His decades of passion for the paranormal are on full display at the Nightmare Gallery which opened in 2022, including props and replicas from beloved horror movies and TV shows.
There are displays about national and local mysteries and Bigfoot is one of the most sought-after creatures in the Kentucky Bluegrass Triangle, which is the main area of focus for this gallery.
When you wander through the displays, keep an eye out for haunted objects and in-depth explorations of Jack the Ripper, The Wildman, and loving dedications to retro sci-fi and horror films.
The tours are absolutely free; however, you must book your tour in advance. The tours are one hour long and are led by Zach Bales himself! If you show up during the holidays, you may get to face the judgment of Krampus.
