The Kentucky Bourbon Trail is a popular destination for locals and visitors to our great state, and it just keeps getting better with time. We told you why everyone should experience this “Only In Kentucky” excursion previously here, and now there’s another delicious reason. Newer to the bourbon scene in Kentucky, The Bardstown Bourbon Company is a beautiful, modern distillery that recently opened the very first full-service restaurant, bar, and vintage whiskey library on the Bourbon Trail. Bottle & Bond Kitchen and Bar is a stunning dining destination with innovation pouring out of it, but with plenty of southern charm. This brand new restaurant on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail is definitely one you’ll want to try out soon.
The Bardstown Bourbon Company may be a newer addition to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, but it brings with it years of passion and experience in the industry.
Their 100-acre property of farmland and structures is located just off the Bluegrass Parkway in Bardstown and is a welcome addition to the "Bourbon Capital of the World." They are creating incredible bourbon in a state-of-the-art setting and aim to make a visit to the distillery an unforgettable experience. In working toward this goal, they recently opened Bottle & Bond Kitchen and Bar, which is a rarely found restaurant along the trail.

Bottle & Bond is an elegant restaurant with eye-catching decor and impeccable service. They aim to make your first visit so memorable that you are making your next reservation before you step out the door.
The interior of the restaurant and bar is beautifully outfitted, but still very comfortable. The large windows allow you to look out over the property and your eyes will also enjoy a feast with a delicious menu, vintage whiskey library, and other lovely features.
The restaurant serves lunch every day of the week and dinner Thursday through Sunday, making it the ideal place to stop for a meal while you're exploring Bardstown and the Bourbon Trail. The menu is developed with the freshest of ingredients, which are put together to create simple, yet exceptional flavors.
On the menu, you'll find a wide variety of items from salads and sandwiches to mouthwatering entrees and can't-miss desserts. Keep things simple, but far from bland, with a burger and fries, or enjoy a true taste of the south with shrimp and grits or fried chicken. And as a restaurant within a distillery, you'd expect great things from the bar, and they definitely deliver. The craft cocktail menu is impressive, and actually quite beautiful, and of course, they also offer a number of whiskeys, bottles of wine, and local draft beers, among others.

The ambiance at Bottle & Bond Kitchen and Bar is truly one-of-a-kind with its setting within this brand new distillery. But keep in mind that it is as welcoming as it is unforgettable.
If you'd like to ensure a table for lunch or dinner, it's best to make a reservation and you can do so here. The restaurant is open for lunch Sunday through Wednesday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and for lunch and dinner, Thursday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Keep this new dining destination in mind the next time you're making your way along Kentucky's very own Bourbon Trail.
