One of the very best ways to spend a day in Kentucky is to drive around, take in the scenery, and then track down a local restaurant that’s off the beaten path. We love sharing these hidden gems because they often serve up some of the best food in the state, and welcome both regulars and new guests with a warm smile. If this is one of your favorite pastimes in the Bluegrass State, then take the beautiful drive to the Cadiz area near Lake Barkley and check out The Fishin’ Hole. This hole-in-the-wall local gem is the perfect stop for a great meal and you definitely won’t leave hungry.
The Fishin’ Hole serves up scrumptious, down-home favorites in an area of Kentucky that’s definitely worthy of a road trip if you don’t live nearby. Have you visited this local gem? Share your experience with us in the comments!
