I write like it's my job - because it is! I have a Master's in English and love words: crossword puzzles, Scrabble games, Wordle, and, of course, good, old-fashioned books.
I'm a writer and editor at OnlyInYourState, and a contributing writer at Cincinnati Magazine. I love the Great Outdoors and am endlessly awestruck by this beautiful country of ours. Coffee keeps me going, yoga keeps me sane, my kids keep me grounded, and my writing keeps me inspired.
Here in Kentucky, we love nothing more than a day spent on the water, whether it’s kayaking to hidden caves or leisurely lounging on a boat (Kentucky *is* the Houseboat Capital of the World, after all). We’re always up for an adventure, and while the Bluegrass might be best-known for bourbon and derbies, Kentucky is a dark horse when it comes to bucket-list-worthy outdoor recreation. And SUP Kentucky offers what’s quite possibly the most Kentucky adventure ever: stand up paddleboarding through an underground cavern in Red River Gorge.
Have you tried stand up paddleboarding with SUP Kentucky before? Do you agree that this excursion sounds like the most Kentucky day ever? Share your favorite Bluegrass adventures in the comments below!
