I write like it's my job - because it is! I have a Master's in English and love words: crossword puzzles, Scrabble games, Wordle, and, of course, good, old-fashioned books.
I'm a writer and editor at OnlyInYourState, and a contributing writer at Cincinnati Magazine. I love the Great Outdoors and am endlessly awestruck by this beautiful country of ours. Coffee keeps me going, yoga keeps me sane, my kids keep me grounded, and my writing keeps me inspired.
You know how, when you order a burger from your neighborhood pub, it often comes with a toothpick holding it together? Well, a toothpick wouldn’t cut it at Holy Grale in Kentucky. The burgers from Holy Grale are so big, they need an entire skewer to contain all of their deliciousness — so come hungry when you visit this fan-favorite restaurant in Kentucky.
Known for behemoth burgers and an offbeat sense of humor, there's no restaurant in Kentucky quite like Holy Grale.
As its name suggests, Holy Grale is located, quite literally, inside an old Unitarian chapel house, complete with arched windows and stained glass. The restaurant bills itself as "a place of worship for all beer lovers" -- but we'd like to add "burger buffs" to this tagline.
Craving a cheeseburger? You're in luck! This bad boy features a 3D Valley Farm burger cooked to order with Tillamook Cheddar, baby arugula, samurai sauce, pickled jalapeño, and pepper jelly. Yum!
When it all boils (or broils) down to it, EVERYTHING on the menu at Holy Grale is amazing, but the burgers truly are an enlightening dining experience.
