It’s almost impossible to feel anything other than utter and complete joy while you’re noshing on wings in a hole-in-the-wall restaurant; they’re what you order when you’re celebrating the weekend, watching the game or hanging with your closest friends. Whether you like ’em nice and mild or smouldering-in-your-mouth hot, a plate piled high with tastebud-tingling wings makes any evening better. Here’s a local Richmond spot that’s been well-known for serving delicious wings for decades.
Madison Garden Bar & Grill has been serving Richmond locals since 1982. You'll find it at 152 N. Madison Avenue, Richmond.
The wings here have won numerous awards, including Richmond Register's Best Wings 2016. They're deep fried to crispy perfection, then served with your choice of mild, medium, hot or extra hot seasonings.
The bar also specializes in Kentucky bourbon, so if you're interested in trying a particular single barrel or small batch bourbon before you buy the whole bottle, stop by - you'll find dozens on the menu.
Stop by and stay awhile in Richmond's oldest and most beloved bar. It's closed on Monday, but open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 1 AM; Sunday Noon to 1 AM.
