Our city at night is so breathtaking and taking a stroll on Louisville's waterfront in the perfect evening date. Looking out onto the Ohio River waters reflecting the city's colorful lights is one of the most beautiful sights in Louisville.

We're lucky to have the walking bridge to enjoy jogging across every morning! Watch the sunrise at a perfect height and the waters glisten beneath the morning light.

This photo captures the beauty of fall-- the reason most of us are so excited for next season's arrival! We have so many parks and forests in Louisville to enjoy the changing of leaves this fall.

We have so many amazing parks, but Waterfront Park is one of the best. Walk or cycle through this lovely park before crossing the walking bridge too.

The Belvedere is another beautiful area to view the river. It's elevated to provide great views of the sky and Ohio River, and there's often festivals and other events hosted here because it's such a prime location.

This gothic gatehouse that sits upon the reservoir was built in 1879 and is a historic landmark in Louisville. It's a beautiful sight to see this unique building across the water. Many people in Louisville have never visited the location because it sits on a hill, hidden to the many people who pass it daily on Frankfort Avenue.

We have a few beautiful waterfalls hidden around Louisville. Pictured above is Fairmount Falls, a lovely sight that can be reached easily by a short hike.

The nature in Louisville is a large part of why it's such a beautiful city. There are so many places to escape the urban scene, like this amazing meadow in Broad Run Park.

We have amazing forests to explore in Louisville filled with trees, plants, and the occasional deer. Louisville is a great city for nature-lovers.

If you like kayaking or boating, Louisville has plenty bodies of waters to explore and some of the views you'll find are gorgeous. Even if you don't like being on the water, walking along our creeks makes for a beautiful, peaceful walk.

The Belle is another amazing landmark that definitely improves the look of our city. Our beautiful historic steamboat looks even better lit at night, next to the city skyline.
