When it comes to restaurants, Louisville has endless options for delicious food, but if you’d like a classic experience to go along with an unforgettable meal, then we’ve got the ideal spot. Located in Bardstown, My Old Kentucky Dinner Train is a historic train that is actually a restaurant and you need to visit.
Located just 45 minutes from Louisville, My Old Kentucky Dinner Train had its inaugural run in 1988 and has been delighting guests ever since.
The train cars have been beautifully restored to an even better state than their original appearance and provide a nostalgic ambiance for a memorable meal. The R. J. Corman Railroad Company purchased 20 miles of railroad in 1987 to begin this wonderful idea and it remains one of the most popular excursions in Kentucky today.

They offer lunch and dinner rides most weekends and also hold special events, such as Murder-Mystery rides, a Halloween excursion, and the North Pole Express.
