We love good food here in Louisville, so we have a decent amount of festivals centered around our amazing dishes throughout the year. Most of the events below also feature craft beers and live performances too, which always makes for an awesome time. Check out this list below of nine fun food festivals around Louisville.
1. B3 Bourbon Bacon and Beer Fest
The B3 Bash, a food festival that benefits the Kosair Charities, returns January 20, 2018. Enjoy tasty bacon dishes from 13 local chefs, plus specialty cocktails by Makers Mark, craft beer by West Sixth, & Wine from Louisville's own Old 502! There will also be a silent auction and live music.
This festival will be located at the Mellwood Arts Center at 1860 Mellwood Ave, Louisville, KY 40206.
2. Cured & Crafted
Cured and Crafted is a food festival hosted in the Copper and Kings courtyard. The last festival was in April and included food and drinks from Against The Grain Brewery, Amanda Wilder Artisan Crafts

3. Desserts First
Desserts First is a fundraiser where guests sample exclusive desserts created by Louisville chefs. Desserts are judged by local culinary experts and the best desserts will receive awards. Guests can vote for their favorite creation in the "People’s Choice" awards. All of the proceeds go to Kentuckiana Girl Scouts.
The last Desserts First was located at The Olmsted, 3701 Frankfort Avenue, Louisville, KY 40207.
4. Kentucky Reggae Fest
The Reggae Fest has amazing crafts, music, and food to celebrate Carribean culture. It attracts vendors not just from Louisville but all over the country.

5. Louisville Food Truck and Craft Beer Festival
Featuring some of Kentucky's most popular food trucks, the Louisville Food Truck and Craft Beer Festival is the place to go for food truck lovers. The first ever event will be on Sunday September 17th.
This festival will be located at Waterfront Park 401 River Rd, Louisville, KY 40202.
6. World Fest
WorldFest features incredible music, food, and art from cultures around the world. The food is from local restaurants set up in tents. This year's 15th annual WorldFest will take place from September 1st through 4th.

7. NuLu Fest
Nulu Festival is an event that takes place in the East Market District annually, featuring live music, micro-brewed beers, food and retail booths by local vendors. This year's Nulu Fest will be on Saturday, September 30th, 2017.

8. Soul Food Festival
The Soul Food Festival features delicious soul food as Grammy award-winning artists perform. This year's Soul Food Festival was located on the Great Lawn.
9. Louisville Blues and BBQ
This festival is a two-day event filled with barbecue, a fair food, craft beer tastings and amazing blues musicians. This year's event just happened on July 21st-22nd.
