I write like it's my job - because it is! I have a Master's in English and love words: crossword puzzles, Scrabble games, Wordle, and, of course, good, old-fashioned books.

There are certain places in Kentucky that are both inspirational and aspirational; extraordinary sites where you will experience immense awe and wonder. Mammoth Cave, Red River Gorge, Cumberland Falls, Pilot Knob — these are all well-known natural wonders in the Bluegrass that offer bucket-list-worthy adventures. But there’s another place in Kentucky that’s equally extraordinary; a little-known overlook with sweeping vistas that will make you feel as though you’re on top of the world. Located in General Butler State Resort Park, this little-known overlook is the highest point in Carroll County, Kentucky, and the views from it are sublime.
