Hell or High Water is an underground destination that has book-lined walls, a roaring 20s atmosphere, and is basically every book nerd’s paradise.
Hell or High Water is a truly unique destination in Kentucky that takes you below Louisville’s vibrant Whiskey Row and back to a time when bars were hidden, the music was as smooth as the drinks, and the library-esque decor pleased every book nerd that walked through the door. Hell or High Water is, as it should be, a little tricky to find. Its address is 112 West Washington St., Louisville, KY 40204. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to midnight, and on Friday & Saturday from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m.
