I am somewhat a cliche'. I grew up running around barefoot on a farm in Kentucky.
I love writing, art, sunshine, all animals and my incredibly patient husband, who tolerates my "crazy animal lady" side.
Most Kentuckians make a hospital trip at some point in their lives, and getting good care is a necessity. We all want to actually feel like those taking care of us care about our physical and mental well-being. There are those in the medical field that are quick to tell us their opinions and then dart out of the room while we still try to digest exactly what is being said. On the upside, there’s an abundance of medical personnel that take the time to explain things in a way we can understand. Thus, making us feel confident in their diagnosis and treatment suggestions.
Here are 10 hospitals with kind caring staff members that make us feel comfortable:
This facility at 2001 Kresge Way in Louisville is a place of healing where patients can feel confident in the knowledge and medical procedures provided by the staff. Several family members, including myself, have received fantastic treatment here, and nurturing after care.
This hospital is located at 1025 Moody Lane in Lagrange. It's noted for having a quick, thorough, and considerate ER. Those who have experienced overnight stays seem to feel the staff is friendly and competent.
This well maintained establishment at 270 Walton Way in Hopkinsville is said to have a kind and knowledgeable staff, who are sometimes hesitant to leave. According to a "few" patients, they were visited by someone named Caroline, who isn’t "living" anymore. Caroline is apparently quite friendly.
This facility located at 1210 KY-36 in Cynthiana is known for having fast service, along with a friendly, caring, knowledgeable staff. On Google reviews it gets a 4 and 5 star rating, even referred to as, "excellent".
Located on 727 Hospital Drive, this hospital is reported as having a caring staff, and gentle treatment of patients. Emergency situations are handled promptly and with concern. The majority of the doctors have great bedside manner.
This specialized children’s hospital is at 231 E. Chestnut in Louisville and has nothing but positive reviews, regarding newborns to teenagers. The staff is caring and considerate, and actually does their best to make the children feel at ease, as well as the parents.
Located on Mercy Court in Irving, this is a caring facility for family and friends. Patients report kind, considerate treatment and service in a timely manner. ER visits usually last 2 hours or less, depending on the amount of patients admitted.
This pristine medical facility at 250 Park Street in Bowling Green is highly recommended by patients who have visited the facility. The staff is friendly, competent, and offers easy communication instead of complicated "doctor speak". Some visitors have complimented the staff on their ability to give the patients a family feel.
This health care facility is located at 1 St. Joseph Drive in Lexington. People write reviews, and give 5 star ratings on the care received, for the most part. Family members who have procedures or care at this hospital also tend to refer other family members.
In reality, many patients have different types of experiences at the hospital. Anytime there is an extreme level of pain or discomfort, ones perception can be tainted. For the most part, Kentucky’s hospitals are filled with caring individuals who went into healthcare to actually help people.
