Dinner here is both authentic and comforting. It feels like you might be sitting in the dining room of a close family member. In Germany, of course!

Michael and Annemarie Greipel along with their five children have owned and operated Gasthaus since 1993. And their dedication to real German food shines through.

The dishes here are so comforting. We recommend you start with a salad or soup. The cream of potato soup comes with German sausage pieces. And there's always a soup of the day.

For something lighter consider the brotsalat, which is lovely.

The meat dishes here are fantastic. The menu includes things like gulasch which includes Hungarian-style beef cubes and sauerbraten which is tender beef marinated for at least 7 days in old-world spices, herbs, and wine vinegar.

And there are plenty of chicken dishes as well.

Whatever you order, be sure to leave room for dessert! This strawberry napoleon is something you're going to want to try!

And, of course, no visit to a place like Gasthaus is complete without a round of beers for the table!
