It’s always a nice surprise when a wonderful destination in Kentucky is actually home to multiple places that are worth checking out. We recently featured the largest butterfly house in Kentucky here, which you can find at Wilson Nurseries in Frankfort. Both the nursery and the butterfly house are delightful spots to visit, but there is one more that makes this a lovely trifecta in the Bluegrass State. Sage Garden Cafe in Kentucky is a brunch and lunch spot in Frankfort where you can dine amidst the flowers and wrap up a relaxing time at this must-see destination in our state.
Sage Garden Cafe is located on the same property as Wilson Nurseries in Frankfort.
This beautiful nursery is known as a wonderful place to shop for plants and accessories, as well as its butterfly house that's open during the summer. But when you visit, you have to include a meal at this delightful garden cafe in Kentucky.
The cafe is on the former site of the greenhouse and it still has plenty of greenery, both inside and out.
It almost feels like a hidden gem, though many already know and love this brunch and lunch spot. It can be crowded at peak times, but any wait is always worth it.
