We’re awfully proud of our culinary scene in Kentucky as it’s been growing by leaps and bounds over the last several years. We have James Beard Award-winning chefs, top-of-the-line barbecue, and, of course, the best bourbon in the world! We also have delicious fresh pasta being served up right, and you’ll find some of the best at Pasta Garage in Lexington.
If you’re looking for fresh, hand-made, in-house pasta, look no further than Pasta Garage. This wonderful place was created by Lesme Romero and Reinaldo Gonzalez who wanted to share their love of Italian street food with the people of Kentucky.
Once they solidified their plans, these two best friends set up shop in an old garage and began putting out some of the very best fresh pasta in Lexington, calling the pasta-making side of their business “Lexington Pasta."
Simple pasta dishes are so elevated by using fresh, quality ingredients. This Cacio E Pepe is made with Pappardelle pasta with cracked black pepper, a light Alfredo sauce, butter, and topped with Parmigiano Reggiano. Yum!
Who doesn’t love a comforting, scrumptious, gooey lasagna? This is so much better than using store-bought dried lasagna noodles and a canned sauce. Everything here is so fresh and satisfying. You’ll want to return to try out the whole menu.
Of course, the desserts are also to die for. Light and sweet tiramisu, rich and delicious cannoli, and mouthwatering cheesecake all would make for the perfect end to a delectable meal.
Pasta Garage isn’t keeping its culinary secrets to itself! If you want to learn the art of pasta making, there are regular classes for $100 and you’ll make about six pounds of pasta, some of which you’ll turn into yummy meals and some of which you can take home!
If you really love pasta, join Pasta Garage’s Pasta Club where, for $299/year, you’ll get to pick up four servings of pasta and sauces on 12 different weeks, a bottle of house wine, and discounts on meals and classes at the restaurant. Now that's amore!
