Do you believe in magic? One small town in Kentucky is starting to, as little surprises have been appearing all over the city. It seems that fairies have arrived in Hazard, Kentucky and they are slowly starting to show their presence. Have you heard of this trend? Take a look at how the Hazard Chapter of Magical Creatures is spreading a little cheer and mystery throughout this small Kentucky town.
In an age of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and other mythical phenomenons, it's no surprise that this magical trend is making its way across the country. It appears that fairies have chosen Hazard, Kentucky as their next home and their tiny, charming doors are popping up everywhere.
Fairy doors come with quite a bit of mystery, as they tend to just appear (and disappear) without notice. Fairy doors are said to lead to the Fairy world, of course, so apparently these winged creatures have taken a liking to visiting Hazard.
Although it's unclear exactly who is behind these small doors, the Magical Creatures Union is keeping everyone in Hazard informed. On their Facebook page, they post photos of new doors that seem to come out of nowhere and it's up to the residents to figure out where they are.
These doors may be on the exterior walls of the Fire Department, on a tree within a park or even inside a school. You never know where the next one will be.
Hazard seems to be on board with the fairies' choice of home, as the Magical Creatures Facebook page has over 2,000 followers! The doors have become more intricate, and more mysterious, the longer the fairies hang around.
Of course the people who are behind this "game" have the purest intentions at heart - to bring about fun, silliness and of course a bit of magic. If you're ever in Hazard, be sure to look down and see if you can find any of the tiny doors. And go ahead and open them. But you must know, as Magical Creatures points out, fairies are very shy, so don't be surprised if they're hiding when you come looking.
