This 700-acre enclosure is located near the Golden Pond Visitor Center, where you can purchase tickets for the Prairie.
You can also pay admission at the entrance to the Prairie with cash or check. It is $5 per automobile to drive along the 3.5-mile path through this natural habitat.

This native grassland habitat is just as these animals would have experienced it over a century ago.
Stop and take advantage of being so close to these wild animals. Get a good look and don't forget to snap a few photos— but do NOT get out of your car!
