On this trail out by Lancaster, Kentucky, you'll be treated to riverside views, pools of water, wildflowers, mushrooms, and plenty of wildlife to spot. It's like a little game of hide-and-seek with nature!
With a handy guide to all things flower on the trail, you'll have plenty of opportunities to mark down all the ones that you've seen. You can even turn it into a family competition, finding flowers to see who can spot more varieties.
If you're lucky, a calming trickle of water will be falling during your visit. If you time it right after a recent rain, this little area is oh so soothing.
The loop is only five miles long, with a decent elevation gain, but not too much for most hikers. It's rated as an easy hike and loops around for easy travel.
