We begin our trip in Horse Cave, but you can visit these shops in whatever order works best for you. Do keep in mind that some of these places sell out at some point during the day, so you'll want to get an early start. R&S is an Amish bakery and grocery store that has a wide variety of mouthwatering donuts. They also have fried pies and soft pretzels, so if you miss out on the donuts, there are plenty of treats from which to choose.

Next we head to Lexington with a stop at Magee's. This local favorite is family-owned and known for their made-from-scratch creations. Just look at the thick icing on that donut! They also have other baked goods and hot breakfast sandwiches if you're in the mood for something savory.
