We love to support our fellow Kentuckians around here and in the small town of Hodgenville, the locals feel the same way. In fact, they flock to this charming diner for breakfast and lunch so frequently that there is often a wait for a table, despite its small town location. Paula’s Hot Biscuit is well-known for its mouthwatering biscuits and has even been featured in major magazines and on television. The secret may be out, but this classic mom & pop restaurant has maintained its southern charm and homemade menu and when you visit, you’ll certainly fall in love.

The owner, Paula, certainly knows how to make a good biscuit, but she also knows the value of community and a welcoming atmosphere. Regulars of course feel at home here, but you will too when you choose to stop in for a meal.

Breakfast is the specialty here and it can get quite busy during peak hours. But don't let a wait deter you - the biscuits, and everything else on the menu, are worth it.
The ambiance is a classic country diner with formica and plastic tablecloth covered tables and a warm smile from those working to greet you. There's nothing flashy about this mom & pop restaurant, which is its main appeal.

Locals know they have something special in this dining spot, and the rest of Kentucky should give it some credit, as well. Paula's is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 5:30am to 2pm, Thursday 5:30am - 10am, and Saturday 6am to 10:30am. They are closed Sunday and Monday.
