Located just east of downtown Louisville on Bardstown Road, The Cereal Box is the most fun eatery we've come across in a while. It's tucked into an old home and looks nothing like a restaurant, but that unassuming nature is part of its appeal.
When we say that this restaurant only has cereal on its menu, we mean it! Of course, there are different varieties, but it’s perfect for an after school (or work) snack, a weekend treat, or any time you’re craving a sweet bowl of cereal with a taste of nostalgia.
The menu offers a number of different cereals, including all of the classics. Order just a bowl of cereal with milk, or choose a creative option to mix it up.
Cereal is a food that everyone can appreciate and enjoy, so it only makes sense that everyone should try this one-of-a-kind restaurant concept. It takes the simple nature of cereal and turns it into something fun, exciting, and playful.
Another nostalgic item you can find on the menu: Pop Tarts. You can also have them add cereal to waffle mix for a fun twist on another favorite morning meal.

The restaurant is currently open on Fridays from 5 p.m. to midnight, Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight, and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Cereal Box caters to the Jefferson County Public Schools and is open when the schools are closed; during the summer, they are open daily!
