The 50-acre property is minutes from adventurous Red River Gorge and since it is open all year long, you can set up camp whenever is most convenient for you and your schedule.
While summertime and even fall are popular camping seasons in Kentucky, many wonder where they can go for camping in other months of the year, especially with our up and down weather.
Callie's offers every type of site from full hook up to primitive sites and the scenery is beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful and while not every amenity is offered all year long, the campground is open every month.

The store does close December 1st through March 1st, so if you want off season camping with this amenity, try for November or March. There are other options for shopping and dining out in the Gorge if you visit during the winter.
Don't forget your fishing gear when you book a site so you can spend time on the banks of the stocked lake.
There's a nice playground for the kids and it's also pet friendly as long as you keep your dog on a leash and clean up after him. Guests even rave about the clean bathhouse with hot water!
If you're lucky, you may visit during an event or be treated to live music by the large bonfire area.
