Broke Leg Falls is a naturally beautiful area in Menifee County that's been through quite a bit over the years.
While you can still see some of this damage, the trail is accessible once again and is actually not much of a hiking trail, but more of an outdoor experience. At only .3-mile, it's a great way to get outside any time of year.

From the parking lot, it's a quick walk to an area that leads you along bridges and steps to beautiful water views.
The flow of the creek and waterfalls is very dependent on the weather, so if you want to experience what you see in these photos, time your visit after rainfall or snow melt. Of course, you'll also need to be dressed for muddy conditions.
Keep in mind, you'll need to come back up to get out. The views from below are beautiful and there are some areas to explore, even behind the waterfall.
