I love writing, art, sunshine, all animals and my incredibly patient husband, who tolerates my "crazy animal lady" side.
Throughout life there are bridges we all must cross. Some lead to another county, across a river, over a stream, or simply serve as a nice place to walk. Whatever their purpose, there are some very unique bridges scattered across the Bluegrass State.
Here are 10 amazing bridges worth seeing in Kentucky:
All these bridges except number 10 are on the state registry of historic bridges. They were all made well enough to last for decades. Not to mention, each one provides a breath taking view of the surrounding Bluegrass. We can imagine a horse trotting across, or an old motor car, when they were made lighter.
