4. The Pepper Jack Club at Dad's Favorites, Lexington
Dad's Favorites is a popular deli in Lexington. They have two locations and sell their delicious cheese spreads in stores around the area. The Pepper Jack Club is country ham, smoked turkey, and bacon on a French roll. Dad's Favorites is located at 820 Lane Allen Road in the Garden Springs Shopping Center in Lexington. 5. Kirchhoff's Famous Club at Kirchhoff's Bakery and Deli, Paducah
Like all of the sandwiches at Kirchhoff's, their Famous Club is fresh and made-to-order. They use artisan breads, and many of their ingredients came from local farmers' markets. It is piled high with turkey, ham, bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes on sourdough bread. Don't forget to leave room for one of their freshly baked cookies or pastries. 6. The William and Mary at The Cafe, Louisville
The Cafe is truly a hidden gem. Located in a renovated warehouse, The Cafe is tucked away in an industrial neighborhood of Louisville, but it has some of the best sandwiches in the whole state. You must try the William and Mary, which is thinly sliced corned beef, Swiss cheese, red onion, lettuce, tomato, and spicy mustard on Milwaukee rye. Stella's Kentucky Deli is a farm-to-table restaurant and deli located in a historic house in downtown Lexington. Lizzie B's not only has great sandwich options, but there's also a great craft beer selection and a huge and varied menu if you're not feeling like a sandwich. They also regularly have live music.
