Located in Guthrie, a tiny town near the Tennessee border, Schlabach's Amish Bakery has been family-owned an operated as an Amish/Mennonite bakery since 1960. While it truly is in the middle of nowhere, it's also perfectly located as a simple, made-from-scratch bakery and is worth the drive, no matter the distance.

The bakery is open Monday through Wednesday and Friday and Saturday from 8am to 5pm. All of their items are baked fresh daily and many are available every day.
While it's difficult to choose a favorite, the cinnamon rolls are definitely in the running. They are some of the best—if not THE best—you'll every try. The bakery also offers a variety of pies, cakes, breads, cookies and many other freshly made items.
Visitors return again and again for the friendly service, incredibly delicious aromas and many other favorite baked goods. The fried pies are legendary and you can also pick up homemade granola, jams and jellies, local honey, pasta and more.
Part of the charm of Schlabach's Amish Bakery is its rural surroundings and simplified lifestyle.
