PassTime Fish House Tavern is outside of Louisville and honestly looks a little run down from the outside. If it weren’t for the cars that frequently fill up the lot, you may not even realize it’s open, but this hidden gem serves up the best fried fish in our state and is one place you definitely do not want to drive on by.

However, if you're visiting from outside the area and drive by this tavern, you may not think about stopping in, especially for a fresh seafood meal. But, as with many other favorite Kentucky restaurants, PassTime looks like a hole-in-the-wall, but serves up mouthwatering food. They specialize in fish, but you can get a wide variety of tasty options at this local tavern.

The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and it can get quite crowded, especially on weekends and during Lent. If you wait, it's always worth it.
