Bernheim Arboretum in Kentucky is a favorite destination all year long and it’s the ideal place to soak up the vibrant fall season in the Bluegrass.

In celebration of Bernheim's 90th anniversary, renowned Danish artist Thomas Dambo created a family of three giants that will reside amongst the trees for awhile.

They are especially picturesque when surrounded by fall colors, so be sure to visit all three while walking around the forest.

There are more than 40 miles of trails throughout the property, so there's plenty to explore. They vary in difficulty and terrain, but all are scenic, especially in the fall.

Bernheim Arboretum is open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and as of right now, reservations are not required.
There is a suggested donation of $10/car for admission, if you're able to support their efforts. After a visit, you'll quickly discover that this is a special place in Kentucky.
