The McIntyre’s Winery and Berries at 531 McIntyre Lane might be more up your ally. They have a great selection of craft wines well worth trying and taking home. The staff is incredibly friendly and will happily take you on a tour of the grounds.

the historic district is a win-win. It is home to the first Catholic Church west of the Allegany Mountains, St. Josephs Basilica, which is beautiful.

This is one of the most haunted and most historic places in the area. It has been visited by several Presidents, foreign leaders in exile, and the renowned Jesse James. There is a lot of amazing history in this location, including actual bullet holes from several Jesse James encounters. Jesse also supposedly saw the first ghost at Talbot, and shot at it. The bullet holes are still there.

This may not sound interesting to some, but it delves into the actual history of the bourbon industry. You can see ancient set ups used by bootleggers back in days of old. Visitors will find old bottles, labels, historical documents and more at 114 N 5th Street. It is a really unique place to check out a rich part of our history.

This historic venue is located at 114 N 5th Street. It has a 2 story museum covering the history of the early settlers in the area, and the history of bourbon there. Some might enjoy one or the other more, but both areas have unusual artifacts and remnants of the days long passed.

Here you can visit the renowned and well preserved Federal Hill. You can enjoy the play, "a Stephen Foster Story" which is performed at the J. Dan Talbott Amphitheater on the grounds. You can experience the beautiful gardens and hear inspirational songs of the era in which this amazing plantation was first built.

This wondrous place of Civil War history is located at 310 E Broadway Street and is home to some very nice artifacts. There is an old time village that patrons can stroll through and experience life as it once was. The museum is not very big, but it is well designed and provides both interest and education.
