Even in a fun and gorgeous state like Kentucky, we all have the stresses of adult life and would greatly enjoy being able to play like a kid again. Adventures in Kentucky are never very far away. When you walk into Main Event, you’ll be relieved and excited to see a place that truly has loads of fun for all ages. You can play to your heart’s content while enjoying some tasty food and a pint.
If you like bowling, you’ll find the fluorescent, glow-in-the-dark pins and screens full of action and adventure to be quite an upgrade to your regular bowling alleys.
Skee-Ball is a favorite for all ages, and you can play as many games as you like! These days, you don’t even need a pocketful of quarters. At Main Event, you don’t just win tiny knick-knacks, but you can win game consoles and tablets.
Every kind of arcade game you can imagine is available here, from old-school games like Space Invaders and Pac-Man to newer ones like Halo and Dance Dance Revolution. There’s also good old billiards, and air hockey, and you can try your hand at VR games.
If you’re feeling especially adventurous, walk the Gravity Ropes with bridges, beams, and obstacles, all while safely snug in a harness. Other physical activities are rock climbing, laser tag, and an augmented reality game called MultiBall.
Be sure to take a break and enjoy burgers, pizza, nachos, wings, pretzels, desserts, and a full bar. There are also healthy options like salads and spinach artichoke dip. You could fill up a whole day here, and next time, bring the kids along.
