I write like it's my job - because it is! I have a Master's in English and love words: crossword puzzles, Scrabble games, Wordle, and, of course, good, old-fashioned books.
I'm a writer and editor at OnlyInYourState, and a contributing writer at Cincinnati Magazine. I love the Great Outdoors and am endlessly awestruck by this beautiful country of ours. Coffee keeps me going, yoga keeps me sane, my kids keep me grounded, and my writing keeps me inspired.
As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
Kentucky Lake is a popular destination for all sorts of recreation, from boating and kayaking to fishing and camping. We’re partial to the camping at Kentucky Lake, as the surrounding scenery in this part of the Bluegrass is nothing short of spectacular. And if you’re looking to immerse yourself in this resplendent region in style, there’s no better campground than Kentucky Lake Glamping. With seven impossibly charming airstream campers from which to choose, you’ll have the most delightful night ever when you stay at this Kentucky campground.
There's nothing like gathering 'round the campfire for a night under the stars. Unless...
Ideal for outdoorsy folks who prefer indoorsy sleeping arrangements, Kentucky Lake Glamping has seven vintage campers that have been converted into the most enchanting dwellings you've ever seen.
All vintage campers are outfitters with plush linens and comfy beds, Wifi, hearting and A/C, and functional kitchenettes with appliances like ovens, coffee makers, and toasters.
Fido, however, can't join the glamping party -- only humans are allowed in these campers!
A pristine on-site bathhouse means no "roughing it" when nature calls; and believe us when we say this is the nicest campground bathhouse we've ever seen! A large rain shower head will feel downright luxurious after a day roaming the wilds of the Bluegrass State.
Of course, even more than these impossibly charming digs, the real draw of this campsite in Kentucky is its prime location on the lake. Kentucky Lake Glamping is located in the back of Blood River, and you really won't find better "lakeside camping" in the Bluegrass State. It's secluded, yet convenient.
