I am somewhat a cliche'. I grew up running around barefoot on a farm in Kentucky.
I love writing, art, sunshine, all animals and my incredibly patient husband, who tolerates my "crazy animal lady" side.
There are so many great places to eat and have fun, all across the United States. Kentucky has some wonderfully entertaining venues, along with some great restaurants, but if only we could add a few. We lack the ability to catch fresh seafood, or to visit any Kentucky amusement parks other then Kentucky Kingdom.
Here are 7 places what would be great additions to the Bluegrass State:
7. Jack in the Box is a popular restaurant many love more than any other burger joint, but Kentucky doesn’t have one in its biggest city, Louisville.
6. Copigiro is a Philly based gelato shop that specializes in fresh, natural ingredients. The food is amazing, no matter if you order a gelato, a sorbet, pastries, or a Panini.
5. The Clover FoodTruck in Boston would make a great addition to Kentucky. It offers fresh, all natural ingredients prepared in front of customers. Each sandwich is reasonably priced at around $6.
2. The Smuggler’s Cove in San Francisco is a Barbary Coast Shipwreck Tiki bar. It offers visitors OVER 400 types of rum and 70 unique cocktails. The bravest of the brave even risk the Flaming Scorpion Bowl.
There are lots of restaurants that could be added to this list, but these were the first that came to mind. As far as amusement parks, Disney just seemed to be the best alternative to what is here already. If you have experienced any interesting places that you’d like to see in Kentucky, please feel free to share them in the comments below.
