I am somewhat a cliche'. I grew up running around barefoot on a farm in Kentucky.
I love writing, art, sunshine, all animals and my incredibly patient husband, who tolerates my "crazy animal lady" side.
Kentucky is a beautiful state, and many residents stay here their entire lifetime, raise their families and continue the cycle of Kentuckians. There are people that leave to explore other states, experience different climates, or take a more influential career position. There is no place like home though, and once gone, people tend to realize special things about our state not found in others.

Those who dispute the beauty of Kentucky are quite mad. We are a beautiful state and good hearted people. You may dream of leaving the Bluegrass State one day, but rest assured, you will miss something about it.
