Born and raised Kansan, Clarisa has lived in both tiny towns and cities during their time here in the Sunflower State. As a busy mother of one crazy kid, two cats, and two geckos, they write whenever there is spare time.
Did you get all of that? Once more, it’s the World’s Largest Collection Of The World’s Smallest Versions Of The World’s Largest Things, WLCoWSVoWLT for short. This collection doesn’t take up too much room, but you can almost go on a tour through your memories of these large feature attractions.
Welcome to the home base of WLCoWSVoWLT, where a museum is in progress to be a more permanent home for the collection. After all, it grows more all the time, as more World's Largest Things become part of the collection and history.
It's a passion project and business created by Erika Nelson, an extremely creative artist with a love for both big and small things. After all, it does take a creative mind to visualize small versions of large scale sculptures and creations.
Now, there's a brick-and-mortar location in Lucas that's open by accident, chance, or coincidence. It's also a work in progress, much like the collection, but you can always check when they're available by texting them at (785) 760-0826.
They have miniatures of the ball of twine, Big Brutus, the easel and Van Gogh painting, and more. The wren is here as well, and plenty more of our giant attractions are planned for future models.
Much of the year, the display goes traveling to different states, whether it's to spread the word, visit somewhere new, or bring a new miniature version to take a photo with the much larger original.
