Kansas’ West Dam Trail in Wyandotte County Lake Park is a hiking trail that will take you through beautiful country. Even better, along this trail, you can find your own personal oasis.
The West Dam Trail is a 2.4-mile loop trail. It is rated easy and is a fairly quiet hiking trail.
Along the West Dam Trail, you will come to Wyandotte County Lake. While the lake is large, you can find many secluded overlooks along the trail, where you can sit back and enjoy your own personal oasis.
This is one hike in Kansas that will take your breath away. The views of the lake, no matter where you may be standing along the trail, are stunning. You’ll want to spend all day basking in the beauty of the area.
