With most of us staying at home and still unable to venture out to our favorite places, virtual tours help us enjoy these beautiful places from the comfort of our own homes. This virtual series of the beautiful Wichita Botanica Gardens tour is perfect for anyone who wishes to experience it without risking themselves. Plus, who wouldn’t love visiting Botanica from home every now and then?
Welcome to the stunning Wichita Botanica Gardens, the center of many a sunny day adventure in Wichita, Kansas.
Since 1987, this garden has been open to the public, fascinating visitors from all over. Since then, they've expanded to add numerous events, educational programs, seasonal attractions, and more.
Through these tours, you can enjoy the beauty of the garden's flowers, from tulips to iris. On their youtube channel, they also have videos for gardening tips, story time for the kids, and more.
They're well prepared, and working on opening back up to the public whenever it's fully safe to do so. We love our gardens, but some things are worth the wait.
If you'd like to support the gardens during hard times, you can help by getting a membership! It'll give you access to great events when they reopen fully, and help support what they do best: garden beautifully.
For more information about when things reopen, you’ll want to visit the Botanica Facebook page or the Wichita Botanica website. Under normal circumstances, this is where you’ll find the beautiful gardens for a visit.
Do you have a cool place to visit during normal conditions without social distancing and shelter in place? Tell us about the places you miss the most with our new nomination feature.
