Editor’s Note: Unfortunately, this legendary flea market in Kansas has closed permanently. We encourage you to explore some of the other amazing flea markets in Kansas instead.
You have seen second-hand flip shows and have visited the homes of friends who have repurposed vintage finds… but have you ever tried it for yourself? Whether the answer is yes or no, it is time for you to get out and get thrifty by visiting this epic flea market.
Located in Wichita, Village Flea Market is home to the largest indoor market in the state (hence its mall-ish appearance) with a whopping 100,000 square feet of bargains.
Open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays year round, the Village is home to over 100 regular shops/dealers who offer a variety of collectibles, furniture, books, toys, tools, and anything else you could possibly imagine.
In addition to their regulars, the flea market also rents out temporary booths and spaces to those wanting to have their "garage sale rain or shine... or 100 degree temps!"
Avoiding the often unbearable humidity = my kind of garage sale.
Depending on the time of year, you may also be able to get in on one of the Village Flea Market's special events, which include a Comic Book Day & Comic Con, Easter Scavenger Hunt, and Second Saturday Craft Show!
