Food is a magical tool that can transport us to the past in a single bite. Often, food doesn’t have to be complicated to be good. The food really tastes like home at this underrated restaurant, and you’ll love every bite of it. Come take a look for yourself what this place is cooking up!
Welcome to The Pad Restaurant, a spot hiding out in Topeka that many have passed but not enough know what's hiding within.
Opened in 1961, The Pad is somewhere where you can go to eat for years on end and never tire of their food. Plenty of residents have done just that already.
The Pad has quite a few menu items, but the list covers much of our local favorites. Chicken fried, pork tenderloin, fish, and even custom items you'll only find at The Pad are served with a smile and that Kansas service we all love.
They also serve other items like burgers, fried sides, and a great soft serve to finish your meal with. Everything is fairly priced and won't be a harm to anyone's wallet.
There’s a great benefit to living in Kansas, and it’s more than the scenery. If you love adventuring through many of our best restaurants, check this list for more additions to add to your travels.
