Welcome to Zenda, Kansas, where you'll find a spot called The Lumber Yard Steakhouse.
What originally started as a lumber company in 1902 eventually went through a few changes and in 1991 turned into a restaurant. Decorated with farming and lumber yard equipment on the walls, this restaurant is definitely a home away from home for many Kansans.
Speaking of steakhouse, they boast the best angus steaks in Kansas, and though we're not sure we can pick just one restaurant, TLY has a great steak we'd eat any day.

During normal operations, the Lumber Yard is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursdays, 5 to 11 p.m. on Fridays, and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturdays.
