As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
Have you ever wanted to try living off-grid, where no one can find you? Though there’s a lot of places in Kansas with no one around, we think this tiny house cabin nestled in a forest is the perfect place to stay for a break from the world around you. I can imagine the peace and quiet already! Are you ready to pack?
Welcome to an amazing off-grid stay in a tiny house, where you'll live as if you aren't connected to the world. The Batch is a 186sqft tiny house built on an old hay wagon set on 40 acres of land, all quiet and built for nature lovers.
The lofted bed sleeps two, and other guests you'd want to invite to your stay out here are welcome to set up their tents in the trees. Whether you want to sleep here alone or with friends, it's a refreshing break from all the technology of the world.
There isn't any running water here, but plenty of potable and drinking water is provided by the hosts. Live in the rough while enjoying AC and heat, I say! Temperature control is important with how Kansas likes to arrange the weather.
Outside, there's a sitting area around a bonfire that makes for a perfect s'more factory. You'll have to bring your own firewood or choose a stay package that includes plenty of it.
You'll feel like you're all alone out here in the tiny house, with nothing but the trees to comfort you. It's a great time to unwind if you need to leave the world behind for a little while.
Waking up to a foresty morning each day is a beautiful treat, and it's even better if you get the breakfast package with your stay. Who wouldn't want to wake up to great food and a view like this? A tiny house cabin seems to be the perfect way to do it.
As a sidenote, your dogs are welcome to stay here! They have dogs on the property, which you may meet as you make your way up to the cabin. They're friendly pups!
If you’d like to disconnect from the world for a while at this beautiful dog-friendly cabin, we encourage you to learn more and book your trip on The Batch’s Airbnb listing.
