If you’re a big fan of all things strange and unusual, you’re going to love The Museum of Odd in Lawrence, Kansas. Containing an eclectic collection of items you won’t see in most places, it’s not your typical fine art collection or historical artifacts. They earn a spot in the museum, and items must be odd, very, very odd.

Located in the private home of Randy Walker, the Museum of Odd contains a bizarre mix of old and new relics that he started collecting at age 12. Perhaps one of the weirdest is several pairs of Elvis Presley's underwear and the King's toenail.

Taxidermy animals appear throughout the museum. They add to the strange aesthetic created by Walker. They also support other relics that line the walls, shelves, furniture, and floors of the home.

It doesn't get more bizarre than recycled and upcycled items. The figures made from discarded soda cans and bottle caps come to life with their very expressive faces. They're present in number throughout Walker's collection.

As a spirited collector, it's hard to say when Walker will quit adding items to his personal museum. You don't question the loyalty of a person willing to collect not one, two, or twelve sock monkeys. You simply admire their dedication and pay a nominal fee to witness their private collection in person.
